Technical Detail
Scribble artwork on canvas is originally created using acrylic paint on canvas. The original painting is then photographed and printed using HP Vivera inks on a polyester canvas which is less likely to sag than a cotton based support. The inks have a lasting archival quality which is further enhanced by a coat of varnish. The canvas is then hand stretched and supplied ready to hang. This is the traditional way of constructing canvases for fine art.
Hand-painted finishing is created using acrylic paints and metal leaf. Applied items such as jewels or sequins are adhered to the canvas using a strong epoxy glue.
Care of Your Artwork
The utmost care has been taken to ensure that your Scribble artwork will provide many years of employment. However to guarantee this, it is important to hang the artwork out of direct sunlight or a damp environment, and away from direct heat. The canvases can be wiped clean with a lint free damp cloth, but care should be taken to avoid any applied items such as glitter or jewels. Take care also not to allow the surface to be abraded by rubbing against another object, or to come into contact with sharp items which may scratch it.
Safety
These canvases are not intended as toys and children should not be permitted to play with them. It is recommended that canvases should be hung out of the reach of children under 36 months, because of small parts.
